DKB Aesthetics – Training Academy Terms & Conditions
By booking a course with DKB Aesthetics, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Introduction
- These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") apply to all students enrolled in any training courses ("Course" or "Courses") delivered by DKB ("we," "us," or "our"). By enrolling in a course, you ("student," "you," or "your") agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
2. Eligibility and Enrollment
- 2.1 You must be at least 18 years of age to enroll.
- 2.2 You must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
- 2.3 It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet any prerequisite qualifications prior to enrollment. (level 3 beauty qualification)
3. Quallfication Verification and Insurance Responsibility
- 3.1 DKB Aesthetics Training Academy accepts students who declare they hold a Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent) in good faith. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that this qualification is genuine and can be evidenced upon request.
- 3.2 Students who are unable to provide proof of their Level 3 qualification, or an equivalent recognised certification, may be unable to obtain insurance after completing their training.
- 3.3 DKB Aesthetics Training Academy accepts no liability in circumstances where a student fails to secure insurance due to insufficient or unverifiable qualifications. By enrolling on a course, the student acknowledges and agrees that DKB Aesthetics Training Academy is not responsible for any loss, claim, or inability to practice resulting from a failure to meet insurer eligibility requirements.
4. Payment Terms
- 4.1 A non-refundable deposit (amount specified at the time of booking) is required to secure your place on the course.
- 4.2 Full payment must be made prior to the start date of the course unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- 4.3 Payment plans must be adhered to strictly. Late or missed payments may result in course access being suspended or revoked to which all payments will be lost
5. Cancellations and Refunds
- 5.1 All deposits are non-refundable.
- 5.2 No refunds will be given once full payment has been made and manuals have been sent out 14 days prior to training (but by descretion of DKB the course may be rescheduled)
- 5.3 DKB reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course. In such cases, students will be offered an alternative date. or a full refund (for a course cancellation).
6. Course Attendance and Conduct
- 6.1 You must attend all scheduled sessions to receive certification
- 6.2 You are expected to behave in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
- 6.3 Any misconduct, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, or breach of safety protocols, may result in immediate removal from the course without refund.
7. Certification
- 7.1 Certificates will only be issued upon successful completion of the course and full attendance.
- 7.2 Completion of a course does not guarantee proficiency or employment.
- 7.3 Students must meet the required standards of competence in both theory and practical assessments.
8. Course Materials and Intellectual Property
- 8.1 All course materials are the intellectual property of DKB and are provided for your personal educational use only.
- 8.2 You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or share any course materials without prior written permission.
9. Liability
- 9.1 DKB is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage sustained during or after the training unless caused by proven negligence.
- 9.2 You are responsible for your own professional liability insurance if required by your profession or jurisdiction.
10. Health & Safety
- 10.1 You must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs prior to attending practical sessions.
- 10.2 You agree to adhere to all health and safety protocols provided by DKB.
11. Data Protection
- 11.1 Personal data collected during registration will be used solely for course administration and communication.
- 11.2 Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
12 Govering Law
- These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the united kingdom, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
